Saudi minister: Lebanon becoming ‘platform for terrorism’ is unacceptable

Thamer Al-Sabhan’s tweet comes after Hariri’s resignation on Saturday.

:: Saudi Arabia’s Gulf Affairs Minister Thamer Al-Sabhan said in a tweet on Monday that Lebanon will never be what it once was after Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s resignation.

He continued to say that the Gulf “will not accept that it [Lebanon] becomes a platform for terrorism to make its way to our countries, and on the hand of its leaders, become a state for terrorism or peace.”

Sabhan’s tweet comes after Hariri’s resignation on Saturday. The reasons for the resignation remain unknown as of this time.
