India’s Modi meets Oman’s Sultan Qaboos in Muscat on historic visit

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Oman’s Sultan Qaboos bin Said at Beit Al-Barkah in Muscat.


:: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Oman’s Sultan Qaboos bin Said at Beit Al-Barkah in Muscat Sunday night on his first visit to the country, Omani daily Times of Oman reported.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed several existing cooperative ties and deals, as well as highlighted the strength of good relations among the two nations, with further agreements set to be signed to benefit Omani and Indian citizens.

Among those in attendance were Oman’s minister of oil and gas and the secretary-general of the foreign ministry, as well as the delegation accompanying the Indian prime minister.
