Saudi Arabia to grant free visas for foreign scientists

:: Saudi Arabia will be providing free visas for foreign scientists and health specialists, Khaleej Times reported.

The move is among several other initiatives aimed at improving the kingdom’s health industry, the Secretary general of the Saudi Health Council, Ahmed Al Aamiri, said.

The visas will be given to experts with a proved track record in different fields, and is expected to attract top experts from around the world to develop research programs related to health in Saudi Arabia, the newspaper added.

The kingdom has been focused on implementing several health reforms.
