Scientific Meeting of Hajj, Umrah opens on Tuesday in Makkah

:: Under the patronage of King Salman, Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal will open the 18th Scientific Meeting of Hajj Umrah and Visit Research on Tuesday.

The Umm Al-Qura University has organized the event at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute of Hajj and Umrah Research, which represents the public and private sectors.

The rector of the Umm Al-Qura University and supervisor general of the institute, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafil, said this meeting is an embodiment of the Saudi leadership’s keenness, care, and attention given to pilgrims throughout the year.

The institute, at Umm Al-Qura University, “is proud to take on the task of developing and improving the Hajj, Umrah and visitor environment by refining the services provided to the guests through scientific research and specialized studies,” read the university president’s message on its official website.
