:: Saudi Arabia donated $530.4 million as part of the UN’s Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen in 2018.

A report, issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, said the Kingdom donated the largest sum of the total $1.54 billion donated by several countries.

Countries, who were not part of the Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen, also donated $196 million out of the total $466.4 million.

The report showed the humanitarian response plan had the highest percentage of food security, agriculture, health, water, hygiene and sanitation, health, nutrition, education, shelter, and others.

The plan is the largest mission launched by humanitarian agencies for Yemen, whose goals include saving lives, protecting civilians, promoting equitable access to aid, and ensuring that humanitarian agencies aid sustainability.

In line with the Humanitarian Response Plan, the Comprehensive Humanitarian Operations in Yemen continued to facilitate and contribute to the delivery of aid from international organizations and humanitarian institutions to Yemen.
