UAE Embassy in Riyadh holds tolerance exhibit

The exhibition included a panel discussion on the values of tolerance and its role in strengthening relations between all human communities.


:: The UAE Embassy in Saudi Arabia launched an exhibition to celebrate the “Year of Tolerance” at the Culture Palace Hotel in Riyadh.

The two-day event was opened by the UAE’s ambassador to the Kingdom, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al-Nahyan, and attended by a number of Emirati and Saudi officials and intellectuals.

The exhibition included a panel discussion on the values of tolerance and its role in strengthening relations between all human communities, the importance of developing programs for promoting cultural diversity, and the role of the economy and the business sector in encouraging, empowering and supporting culture.

Al-Nahyan said: “The qualitative cultural movement in Saudi Arabia and the UAE is a message of mutual tolerance from the two brotherly countries.”

He also thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for supporting the humanitarian initiatives of Sheikha Fatima bint Mohammed bin Zayed, describing culture as a tool for building bridges of development and communication.
