King Salman receives Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday.

:: Saudi Arabia’s grand mufti, senior scholars, princes and a group of citizens called on King Salman at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday.

The reception began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Prince Saad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz bin Turki, Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar and a number of princes were also present.

Earlier, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent cables of condolences to the president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, on the death his country’s former president.

In his cable, the king said: “I extend to you, the family of the deceased and your friendly people my deepest condolences and sincere sympathies.”
