Muslim World League chief receives Kazakh officials

Muslim World League chief Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa receives Kazakh Ambassador Peric Arin at his office in Riyadh on Tuesday.


:: Kazakhstan Ambassador Peric Arin and a number of Kazakh officials called on the secretary-general of the Muslim World League, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, at his office in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The ambassador handed over a message from Kazakh President Dariga Nazarbayeva to the MWL chief, which also included an invitation to visit Kazakhstan.

The secretary-general welcomed the newly appointed ambassador and wished him success during his posting in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual concern and reviewed bilateral ties and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination.

The MWL chief affirmed his organization’s keenness to deepen its relations with all countries of the world to effectively serve Islam and Muslims.

Recently, the MWL organized a four-day international conference in Makkah, which was attended by dignitaries, scholars, senior officials and leading thinkers from the Muslim world.

Participants of the event stressed the importance of moderate Islamic discourse and the preservation of the rights of minorities in non-Muslim countries.
