Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to make a significant impact by providing essential aid to vulnerable communities in Yemen, Sudan, Lebanon, and beyond. In a heartening effort to alleviate hunger, KSrelief has distributed food parcels, bread, and vital supplies to families struggling amidst crisis.

In Yemen, the agency delivered 1,795 food parcels to the neediest families across multiple governorates under the 2024 Yemen Food Assistance Distribution Project. This initiative has already reached 12,565 individuals, with Al-Jawf governorate alone receiving 2,539 food baskets. These efforts are part of a broader mission to provide food aid to 253,659 people across nine Yemeni governorates this year, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to addressing food insecurity in the region.

KSrelief’s compassion also extends to Lebanon, where the Al-Amal Charitable Bakery project has entered its fifth phase. Between July 25 and 31, the project distributed 25,000 bags of bread to Syrian, Palestinian, and Lebanese families in need, benefiting 12,500 households in Akkar Governorate and Al-Minieh District, North Lebanon.

In Sudan, KSrelief is providing crucial support through the Emergency Shelter Assistance Project. The agency distributed 1,256 shelter and personal care kits to displaced families, offering relief to 3,611 individuals facing hardships.

Beyond food and shelter, KSrelief continues to deliver life-saving medical assistance. In Indonesia, the agency facilitated open heart surgeries and catheterization procedures for patients in need. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, 2,396 Syrian refugees in Akkar received 5,817 medical services.

In Cambodia, KSrelief’s medical mission successfully concluded, with 69 specialized surgical operations performed in Phnom Penh. The surgeries, which included the removal of benign and cancerous tumors as well as facial and jaw reconstruction, have restored hope and health to those in need.

KSrelief’s ongoing efforts reflect Saudi Arabia’s unwavering dedication to supporting communities in crisis, providing not just aid but also a lifeline to thousands around the world.
