Pakistani President Welcomes Madinah Imam

In a heartfelt meeting at the Presidential Palace, President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan welcomed Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, the esteemed Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, on Thursday. The visit was attended by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Al-Maliki and a number of distinguished officials.

President Zardari greeted Sheikh Al-Budair and his delegation with warm hospitality, emphasizing the deep-rooted brotherhood and close cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the crucial need for unity among Muslims, particularly in these challenging times, as a source of strength and solidarity.

In response, Sheikh Al-Budair expressed his sincere gratitude for the gracious reception and extended prayers for Pakistan’s continued stability and prosperity, along with the well-being of the entire Muslim Ummah.

This visit is a significant part of an initiative by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, aimed at fostering connections and cooperation through the visits of Imams from the Two Holy Mosques to various nations.
